Data Deletion

Last updated: 18 October 2026

This page explains how to ask Vinayak Consultancy Services (VCS) to delete data, including the data of the WhatsApp messaging features of the VCS Transport ERP (Meta app "VCS MSG").

1. If you are a VCS customer (business)

1. Disconnect WhatsApp (optional, immediate): in your Meta Business settings go to Integrations > Connected apps (or Business settings > Apps), select VCS MSG and remove it. The ERP can then no longer send messages from your number.
2. Ask for deletion: email info@vinayakconsultancyservices.com from your registered email, with the subject "Data deletion request", your company name and what you want deleted (for example: "WhatsApp data only" or "all data").
3. We confirm your request within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days, then send you a confirmation. Data we must keep by law (for example tax records) is kept only for the period the law requires.

2. What is deleted

• WhatsApp connection details stored for you: WhatsApp Business Account ID, phone number ID and the access token.
• WhatsApp message logs, templates list, contact numbers and replies kept in the ERP.
• If you ask for all data: your ERP database and backups held by VCS.

Before deletion we can give you an export of your data if you ask for it.

3. If you received a WhatsApp message from a business that uses our software

• Reply STOP to that message to stop further messages from that business.
• To have your number and messages deleted, please contact that business first; it controls its data. You can also email us at info@vinayakconsultancyservices.com with your mobile number and the business name, and we will help that business delete your data.
